Wylie Hall relative lands George Ryder Stakes

Cheveley Stud’s promising young Redoute’s Choice sire Wylie Hall received yet another notable update to his stellar female line on Saturday when relative Dreamforce won the G1 The Agency George Ryder Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill.

Dreamforce
Third in last year’s Group I ATC George Ryder Stakes (1500m) behind champion mare Winx, Fastnet Rock gelding Dreamforce returned to Rosehill on Saturday to lead all the way and win the prestigious feature by a short neck. Ridden a perfect race by Nash Rawiller from an inside gate, Dreamforce kicked hard off the bend and kept up a good gallop to the line to beat Kiwi challengers The Bostonian and Te Akau Shark.

“He’s so honest, he’s the most honest horse I’ve ever had,” said his delighted trainer John Thompson.

The gelding has an impressive record with 12 wins (five at group or listed level) and 11 placings from 32 starts with prizemoney in excess of $2.1million.

Dreamforce is the best of five winners for Eskimo Queen, an outstanding racemare who won both the Group I Queensland Oaks and STC Coolmore Classic.

A daughter of Shinko King, Eskimo Queen traces back directly in female line to Belle Time (by Summertime), who also ranks as the fourth dam of dual G1 winner Wylie Hall.

Wylie Hall’s legendary sire Redoute’s Choice also made his mark at Rosehill on Saturday. His sons Not A Single Doubt and Snitzel are the sires of Farnan and I Am Excited, the respective winners of Saturday’s G1 Longines Golden Slipper and G1 City Tattersalls Club Galaxy respectively.
